bet on any sport

The primary item to look at when placing a bet on any sport, is the form. Any good free betting system will start with this. An immediate look at the form of Championship teams can provide no help. We've all heard it before in this tier of English football - 'Anybody can beat anybody.' That does explain why a team will win one week, lose the next, then win again. However, form cannot be disregarded. Sure, it may not have as big a factor here than in the Premier League for example, but ignore it, and your football betting system will surely fail. Just look at Leicester City in this, the 2013/14 season. They went on a 9-game winning streak! Failing to take account of this would be a foolish decision. On the flip side, Sheffield Wednesday featured in an 11-game unbeaten streak in all competitions then were brushed aside 3-0 by Wigan Athletic.  Come to bet to FUN88

It should be noted that home and away form bears little relevance in this mad division. The common phrase of 'anybody can beat anybody' is because every one of the 24 teams actually believe they can win every game, no matter whether it's in front of their own fans, or on unfamiliar ground. Whilst in the Premier League, you may have struggling Crystal Palace travel to Arsenal hoping for a draw as a minimum, this type of mind-set is not apparent in the Championship, and should be noted in your weekend football betting system.

Another situation where you would want to avoid looking at the form book when Championship betting, is in a derby match. Local rivals meet often in the second tier and you may as well toss a coin as to who will win. A stronger and more professional squad can be nullified by a passionate and determined outfit, so unless you can gauge these qualities in a side, you may want to avoid betting on these intense affairs. So, what about the clubs who have only joined the league this season? Particularly in the early part of the campaign, it is prudent to consider their previous season. Teams that have been relegated from the Premier League have taken a huge financial and psychological hit, and despite appearing like a stronger side, they often struggle to bounce back. Take a look at the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers for example. On the flip side, a really solid and strong squad can often come out head and shoulders above the rest. A key example of this being Newcastle United who leaped straight back to the top flight as winners of the Championship.

The sides who have been promoted from League 1 are often very difficult to judge. Often, their squads just aren't good enough to do well in the Championship, such as Peterborough who persist on yo-yoing between the divisions. The momentum of promotion can often do wonders on a club and can spring surprise results, such as Bristol City coming up and reaching the Play-off Final in their inaugural Championship campaign, or Sheffield Wednesday's long League 1 unbeaten run continuing into the Championship.

If you follow any football betting system that relies on form and expectancy, Championship betting is probably not your game. This is as un-predictive as they come and surprises are constantly sprung. This, however, is the reason why the odds on offer can make it very appealing to slap a few sides in an accumulator. Do so with caution, and with Championship betting, your gut feeling might be just as effective as your head.
